Delivery

Please give a brief description of how the project was delivered e.g. what hardware/software was used and how the sessions were run.

A group of Year 9 pupils came for one day and a group of year 10 pupils came the next day. The work was to be completed on Apple Macs. Each pupil had their own computer with their footage on. The software we were using was I movie, I photo and Photoshop. The day took the following format and was led by Mr Kelly the CLC teacher.

- Demonstration of how split footage into different scenes

- Demonstration of how to crop footage

- Demonstration of how to save frames of film and export them to Photoshop for manipulation and import them back into movie

- Demonstration on how to put effects into their movie

- Demonstration on how to put titles into their movie

- Demonstration on how to put transitions into their movie

- Putting sound into their movie.

The movie was then saved and put onto CD for pupils to take back with them to school.

During the day artistic advice was given by the school teacher and two artists who were part of the school project.
