
As a staff member using the premises and equipment at the City Learning Centre, I undertake:

- Not to disclose any user identity or password to anyone other than the ICT Coordinator.
- Not to give personal addresses, telephone or fax numbers of:
- any teachers or support workers working at the school, or any pupils attending the school.
- Not to download, use, upload or use any material that is under copyright.
- To always seek permission from the owner before using any material from the Internet. If in doubt, or if I cannot obtain permission, I will not use the material.
- Under no circumstances will I view, upload or download any material that is unsuitable for pupils. This applies to any material of a violent, dangerous or inappropriate sexual content.
- Not to use the Internet for my own private use at school.
- To always respect the privacy of files of other users and not to enter the file areas of other staff without their express permission.
- To be polite and appreciate that some users might have different views than my own and never to use strong language or swear.
- To be aware of the register for those pupils who have not been given parental permission to use the Internet.
- To report any incident which breaches the acceptable rules policy immediately to my ICT Coordinator.
