The City Learning Centre's principle objective is to serve the ICT teaching and learning needs of pupils, parents and teachers from partnership schools.
Other organisations - both educational and business - that wish to utilise the facilities at the CLC will still be able to take advantage of low rates for room and equipment hire.
- Between 9am and 6pm during term time a booking priority will go to partnership schools. Bookings will need to be made half a term in advance to allow adequate planning to take place.
- Laptops, interactive whiteboards and video projectors are available for loan by partnership groups. There is no charge but the maximum length of hire is one month.
- A monthly audit will review the time allocated to different organisations and this information will be reported back to the CLC board on a regular basis.
- Partnership schools will be sent an invoice on a termly basis to cover printing and consumable costs.
- Other organisations will receive an invoice within seven working days of the date of hire.
- A petty cash account will be set up to allow individuals to buy resources from the office.
- The price of using PCs is not inclusive of VAT.
- External agencies will be charged 50% of the total cost for cancellations received within eight working days of the booking date.
